The Uelzen telecommunications tower is groundbreaking for the state of Lower Saxony in several respects. At 158 metres, the massive steel structure is the tallest building in the region. In addition, through its function as a telecommunication pillar, it supplies the area with broadcasting signals nationwide.

The extensive surface is particularly heavily stressed due to the constant exposure to weather. Therefore, over 300 square metres of reinforced concrete were to be waterproofed to meet these high requirements and loads. The company commissioned with the maintenance of the telecommunications tower Firm Bauschutz GmbH & Co. KG, therefore decided immediately in favour of the KEMPEROL BR M System.

The 2-component waterproofing is the ideal solution for the protection of such a special structure. With its polyester resin base, the fleece-reinforced waterproofing is optimally suited for such extreme demands and has already proven itself in many telecommunications towers.
